  1. I looked and numerous risers for monitors from the ones that are just a riser, ones with a drawer or storage compartments, to ones with adjustable heights by adding or removing parts of the legs. I just wasn’t happy with the cost vs functionality. I needed a specific height which fortunately was a common height (5.5″). However, after hours of searching and looking at some in local stores, I found these as a recommended/ad product. Many others like this were way too expensive. These were around 30 dollars and worth every penny. I got two of these for my triple monitor setup. My center is much larger than my outer two. I can raise the outer two to match the height of my center monitor (34″) and it looks amazing. The heavy bases don’t give way to the weight of the monitors and provide space to place things like my tablet, cell phone, and a 4″ fan. I have more space now than when I had the factory stands on the monitors. These are very heavy and very well made.

  2. Very heavily constructed. The base is a solid piece of metal which weighs several pounds. But there are a couple of things to be aware of. The height only adjusts in discrete increments, which might be a problem if you’re trying to perfectly line the display on the stand up with another display. When rotating, the stand doesn’t clearly snap into the horizontal position, so it can be tricky to know if your screen is exactly level. And, a minor gripe, it comes with a yellow warning sticker stuck to the front of the column that doesn’t peel off cleanly.

  3. Looks like it’s going to be perfect for allowing my 15 year old and 5 year old use the same computer.
